Getting to Know You


I play football and I have been playing it for about 14 years.
I am an extremely passionate drawer. When I am having a bad day or even a little stressed out that's my go to hobby because I can express how I feel through my art.
I have multiple nicknames and my birth name is Javon Al-Saddiq Hicks. Some just simple Jay's, Ja, and Diq. Others have meaning. Vonny was given to me but a close high school teammate because his brother has the same name as me so he turned Javon to Vonny. My little sister calls me JV, taking the J an V from Javon and putting them together. She also thought it was funny because she would tease me that I was JV when I started varsity football as a freshmen. I have butterball in which was given to me by my biological mother because she said I was a big baby and looked like a butterball turkey. I have a lot more but that's all I care to share.
I do not sit down and write an outline, I tend to just write on the fly.
Everything was the same writing curriculum in high school except Junior year. Junior year was very much like my college experience. We would get a paper and hand it in get a grade back and would be able to revise it twice for the highest grade. They wouldn't take the average of all three grades because it didn't show how much you did improve.
I listen to all music but I would have to say hip hop and R&B is my favorite. Torey Lanez is my favorite artist because he incorporates a lot of different and unique feats to his music.
It is important for me to be more aware of due dates and deadlines because I hardly ever check blackboard and that's why get so far behind,
I honestly believe I am a B+/A writer, I just have to put more time into it.
